Dana Point, California

Hannah's blog is so bare. . .I need to post more often!  But writing seems to be difficult for me lately, so I will post pictures from the beach! :)  We spent 4 WONDERFUL nights in Dana Point, CA on the way to and from Disneyland :)  I can't tell you how much we love the beach.  The resort we stay at is one of my very favorites!  Even though they lost my keys at the valet, the hotel made right and gave us THREE free nights (plus free food and drinks while we waited almost 5 hours for a locksmith).  So, I really can't complain too much :)

Here are pictures from the Doheny State Beach, Dana Point Harbor, and the trees and grass overlooking the beach at the hotel :)

Stay tuned for Disneyland photos ;)  Oh, and photos from La Jolla and Legoland, too!

Waiting for our food, she decided to explore the deck at the restaurant. . .and make friends with a wooden post!  LOL

I'm so hilarious!

thanks for smiling, Matt. . .really!  Hannah took a great pic of us, and you forgot to smile. . .and your phone and thumbs made an awkward appearance!  LOL

Hey, Nice Pecs! Will You Marry Me?

WHOA!  When did Hannah start noticing boys?  We were watching "A Dolphin Tale" the other night, and at one point the cousin, who was a champion swimmer, looks at an article about himself...in the article's photograph, he is wearing swimming trunks (not a Speedo!) and NO SHIRT (b/c he just finished a match, I suppose).  Hannah shrieks out: "WOW!  I'D MARRY HIM!"

WHAT!?!??!?!  WHAT did she just say?  Are you serious?  I don't know whose jaw dropped to the ground first, Matt's? or mine?  But there were definite chin impressions in the carpet in front of our seats.

Most moms would probably faint, or choose that time to have a heart to heart talk about not choosing soul mates based on the size of their pectoral muscles. . .but instead, I did what came naturally to me.  I laughed hysterically.  I mean HYSTERICALLY!  Not sure if I was laughing so hard because it truly was a hilarious moment? or because I was hysterical thinking about my BABY actually thinking about marriage???  Your guess is as good as mine.

Well, at least I can say she has good taste :)  BUT, I am definitely having that talk with her soon. . . .maybe after she leaves the convent.

**I realize the pictures at the top have nothing to do with this story, but every blog post needs some cute pictures of Hannah!  So, there!**
